Welcome to Secret Garden Inn

Each Secret Garden guest room has a private bath in the room with combination tub / shower. (Rooms called Barn Owl and Apiary have soaking tubs that may be difficult for some people to utilize.) Each room has a TV/DVD, small refrigerator, telephone, WiFi and music by choice. Potting Shed on the lobby floor is wheelchair accessible.

A splendid lobby offers comfortable seating areas for conversation and reading, as does a nook on the second floor. An extensive dining / function room can seat up to 40 and is an ideal choice for small meetings, private parties, receptions and weddings. During the warm months the lavish gardens and shaded deck extend the dining room and lobby as a wedding venue for up to 80.

Our nightly rate includes a breakfast of fresh fruits, juice, granola, breads and a hot egg or other breakfast dish. Coffee and tea stations are located throughout the inn. Guests with early departures can request a continental breakfast delivered to their room for departure day. Breakfast is served daily between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Our Reservation Policies

Nightly room rates vary by the season. High season is May through November as well as all major holidays, sporting and special events (as determined by the innkeeper). Low season is December through April.

Reservations and Payment: We secure your reservation with a credit card number. If you cancel within three days of arrival and /or within three weeks of a special event (as advised in advance in writing by the innkeeper) we will refund the full amount. If you do not cancel within these time frames and that are outlined in our confirmation letter to you, we charge the full amount of your reservation.

Secret Garden accepts Visa, American Express, Master Card and Discover. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Welcome and Farewell: Please allow us to welcome you between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. We will freshen your room daily between 8 a.m. and 3 pm. On departure day we appreciate check out by 11:30 a.m. (Please let us know if your plans may differ.)

We really appreciate receiving your email address and your travel cell phone number in case we need to get in touch with you while you are on the road. Please let our staff know your estimated time of arrival. If you are going to arrive after 8 p.m. please let us know so that we can make sure a staff member is on hand to greet you.

We keep a quiet Inn for your comfort. Children of well-behaved parents are welcome. (We arrange for children to stay in the parents’ room at $15 per night per child extra.) Cribs and high chairs are available. Sorry, but we cannot accept pets.

Secret Garden is a non-smoking inn and we ask that guests confine smoking to the garden.
